We manufacture and sell kitchenware and hydration products for all types of retailers - from national chains all over the world to independent shops in small towns throughout the US. As our business continues to grow, we are in search of passionate and talented candidates to join our Product Development team as Junior members within our Retailer -focused division.

You love to see your ideas become a reality and think outside the box to bring the best to market. You can assess the market and trends and work with our suppliers to get the job done. You work well with multiple teams throughout our organization to collect feedback and knowledge to make us better. You work with our sales team to show ensure our retailers expectations are met.

The Details:

  • Work with the Product Development team to brainstorm new ideas/concepts to drive sales.
  • Responsible for tracking project updates and ensuring progress.
  • Follow projects to completion: the process begins with extensive market research, prototyping, testing, and finally creation through sustainable practices.
  • Conduct and relay trend forecasting and research online and in-stores.
  • Create and update line sheets & costing sheets throughout development season.
  • Process all data entry into our respective portals and systems, including style set-up, and creating New Item Set -Up Forms.
  • Update Manager on weekly project progress, sample statuses, outstanding tasks, etc. for multiple projects simultaneously to maintain accurate information that is used by cross-functional partners.
  • Assist with the sample approval process (including unpacking, tracking, tagging all received samples, as well as giving recommendations on areas to improve for materials and design).
  • Maintaining the tracking of incoming and outbound samples and statuses; maintaining an organized system for all moving parts.
  • Facilitate daily communication with overseas manufacturers on daily product development and follow-up.
  • Management of product information including cost, timelines, and order quantities.
  • Coordinate early supplier involvement of products, parts and designs.
  • Willingness to travel if necessary (domestic and overseas).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Specific focus in Product Development and/or Industrial Design is a plus.
  • 0-2 years relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • A creative eye and organized way of working is a must.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Supreme organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter.
  • Must be able to multi-task and maintain organization.
